Elysium glossary: HYPE, kHYPE, graduation, bundles, CL pools and more
HYPE — Hyperliquid's native token. Pays gas on Hyperliquid, HyperEVM and Elysium.
WHYPE — wrapped HYPE, the ERC-20 version used inside liquidity pools. Each launchpad may deploy its own WHYPE contract.
kHYPE — Kinetiq's liquid-staking token: staked HYPE you can still move. More.
Elysium — Kinetiq's Layer-2 on HyperEVM. More.
Launchpad — a site/contract that creates coins and sells them on a bonding curve before they get a real pool.
Bonding curve — a formula that sets the price from how many tokens have been sold; price rises as more are bought.
Graduation — the moment a coin leaves the curve and gets a real liquidity pool. After graduation it can be traded from any interface.
Pool (v3 / v4 / Infinity) — the contract that holds a coin and HYPE (or USDC) and prices trades. v3 and v4 are Uniswap designs; Infinity (CL) is PancakeSwap's, used by Ascend.
Liquidity — the amount of HYPE in a pool. Low liquidity = big price moves from small trades.
Market cap — price × total supply. On fresh coins this is mostly imaginary; liquidity is the real number.
Bundle — several wallets buying in the same block, usually one bot. Cluster — the wallets of a bundle, as tracked by ElyScreener. More.
Sniper — a bot that buys in the very first block of a pool.
Top 10 — the share of supply held by the ten biggest non-pool wallets.
Slippage — the price difference you accept between quote and execution. ElyScreener defaults to 2%.
Honeypot — a coin you can buy but not sell. Test with a tiny buy and sell first.
Rug (rug pull) — the creator removes liquidity or dumps a hidden supply. Locked liquidity and low top-10 share reduce the risk; they don't remove it.
Router — the contract an interface uses to execute a swap against a pool. One router can serve pools from many launchpads.
RPC — the node your wallet talks to. Elysium RPC settings.
